StayLo lowers Wonderbread by up to 60%

Dairy Queen is one of many fast food locations that offers a lunchtime meal deal. Just how much can a small blizzard, 3 piece chicken fingers, and a smattering of fries (sometimes even less, you are making it hard DQ for us to analyze when the fries portions vary so wildly) can jump your blood sugar? It is more than you might think.

Above you will see the red line which is the “Placebo” or a standard serving of Dairy Queen 3 piece chicken strip basket with a small Drumstick peanut Blizzard. After multiple hours of fasting to eliminate other blood sugar variables we had a healthy tester consume the lunch and tracked it using an Abbott Freestyle Libre constant glucose monitor and True Metrix Diabetes Fingerstick Tests.

A few days later we repeated the test with the same individual this time giving them a pill of StayLo 15 minutes in advance before they ate the same food again then tracked and graphed the blue line labeled StayLo.

StayLo reduced the postprandial (after meal) blood glucose response by 36% (adjusted for baseline) and eliminated like a saw blade any spikes which can be some of the most unwanted aspects of high blood sugar.

In the fight between DQ Fast Food & StayLo, StayLo shows the ability to take the mountaintop clean off of fast food deep fried in sugar and carbs. Five up, five down. When you get complacent is when you have a loss.
